A Gentle Touch

A gentle touch of fingertips
so softly they caress
A tender kiss upon my lips
of love that you express

Arms that hold with understanding
and wipe away the tears
Arms hold safe but not demanding
while hearing all my fears

Acts filled with such sweet compassion
that fill faces with smiles
Acts that show your inner passion
sending love across miles

A man whose filled with tender love
for all who he holds dear
A family he’s so proud of
from a heart that’s sincere

Adventure sparkles in your eyes
and shows a burning fire
Adventure is what you devise
when blood burns with desire

A gentle touch upon the heart
that fills me with delight
A tender thought he does impart,
eyes shine with love’s invite

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

Karen - I have all these qualities.  Okay, I'm lying, I really don't, but I am a good liar, and that is a quality, not good, but a quality.lol

The poem, so very good.

Karen,  NOT only do you paint such a beauty,

but you also write it so that I/we can FEEL
the gentleness of the touch....

I do love this poem....But of course.....

I say that so often about your poetry....

I'm seeing so many poems today that bring me smiles, just as this one does.  Thank you for yet another smile.

Hello Karen

It seems so long since I have read something of yours, maybe we are on at different times, I'm not sure as we are day when you are night.  But one thing is for sure I have missed reading your beautiful words of romance and I am so glad I came across this one.  You are certainly a wonderful weaver of words.

Take care......Sue
