Dreams, false promises
toward desire, abandons
at the grey dawn's onset
a crueler, verticle existence

Clock's incessant dribbling....
wee opposition in the
greater wound of silence
....advances no time

In constant half light
shapes shift, hopeful periphery
tugs subconscience to
a form fled
from awakened examination

This Tango,
Bailado,
of no eye contact,
partook a common beat but
different instruments

happenstance
had our limbs going
in the same direction
at the time
we shared with shadows

===================================

Im not sure what happened here with this thread...I think it got caught in a computer glitch? ...it shows up at the bottom of todays topics with some cryptic time posted...yet it was posted this afternoon.
When I looked for it on Open 19 forum not on Todays topic, it didnt show up?
Your pen is more powerful than even you know poet sir good to see you back.

You never knew what I loved in you,
I dont know what you loved in me ...
Maybe the picture of somebody you were hoping I might be.

(big hugggssssss) Wow, this is a wonderfully captivating poem with a vibration of emotions, sweet friend, this sure is dancing tango! (sigh) We all love you so much, sweet friend, I think some of us can indeed relate upon happenstance! We all love you so much, sweet friend, this is powerful! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Richard, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Did you make me
disappear
only to pull me
in by
shafted light...?

First time I have seen your work. Impressive!
The preciousness of relationships that sustain us, even as they may not complete us.
Look forward to reading more. ThisDiamond
