*Not sure if this is a repost..can't keep track..lol

You come to me in darkness
So very like a dream
Or nightmare, if you please
Where everything is wrong
I sense it to my core
You hover out of sight
But, never out of mind
Malicious tendencies, you gnaw
Feeding on the barren ovaries
of my spirit's tears
You flood my senses with bloody mist
Am I posessed?
[obsessed? undressed?]
By this pernicious tunnel vision
When all I see is Red.

Morcastlin,

This reads like a perfect description of the rape of a soul. Wow! What scary images.

About Decaflame's comment,

"Ah, something a man will never know, that being a woman...well done..."

And your words,

"Feeding on the barren ovaries
of my spirit's tears"

tells me that there is something very deep here which I missed in my first reading. A built in craving-to-death to "create" or "give birth", perhaps?

Me thinks that maybe this is a "Spirit of Woman" thing related to my thinking that God is indeed "She" as well as "He". And there are many thoughts that the "Spirit of Man" of the God "He" in man are completely blind to. And likewise, the "God(dess)" in "She" is deaf to many thoughts of the God in "He".

Is it any wonder that man and women cannot, have never and will never understand each other. Women understand women and men understand men but pairing a man with a woman may work in the flesh but seems doomed in the understanding in a soul. Just a few thoughts. Or more accurately questions?

Or am I way off track, here?
