All out, full bore, to the wall; push
Condensed in single molecule to fire and well
Insatiable, untamable, remarkable; rush
In tidal wave to crush self-pity's bloating swell

Moment to moment, hour-to-hour, day to day
Dynamic and resourceful, the sharpest shard thrust
Survival of the meek and trembling lambs to stay
Risen from the ashes of war before judicious trust

At the peak of night, pitch black, opaque of eye
To slip between clean sheets and nestle to the heart consoled
Beneath the skin, against the grain, without a doubt to die
And sleep, consumed of fairy tales, lavender and sweet behold

Hmm. I'm impressed. Very cool write!

I want to die peacefully, in my sleep, like my grandfather, not screaming, terrified, like his passengers.
