Listening to every heart

A Spring to Winter

Somehow you believe I shall be
in the Winter of your years
ever born as Persephone
and swiftly melt away your fears

Tho I've not gifts of an eternal lass
no fountain of youth from my lips spill
oh see here in this looking glass
the images of us as we are now, still

Only in thine eyes, where might I live
and there, in your heart, a desire that beats
from whence my touch, what I might give
is a blessing to your soul, complete

Ah Spring, to rise the hope of all good men
to see yet a spark in Winter's eyes
ah poor Winter, swift melt away, and then…
see as Persephone gives lift, and rise

YAY!!! OH MY GOSH, THIS IS SOOOOOO BEAUTIFUL!!! I have heard of the whole story of Deeter and Perspherone, how she met Hades and wanted to return home but Hades wanted to imprison her and the verdict was that every Autumn and Winter she would go to Hades when it gets cold outside and she would return to play in the spring and summer when everything blooms! (kiss on cheek) This is marvelous, sweet friend, I just know Nancy is going to cherish this forever, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Karilea, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Oh Karilea!!  What can I say?  Thank you seems so inadequate...this is just so exquisitely beautiful!  Your timing is impeccable as I really needed this one tonight!  What a beautiful loving soul you have sunny one!  I shall treasure this always, bringing it out to read to remind me......of Spring's promise.
You always fill me with smiles and for this I say thank you!!!

Karilea, this is a beautiful and creative dedication.  I love how you incorporated the greek myth with the seasons of life ~ they blend perfectly!  This is clever and very sweet of you to write for her

Take care,
Melissa~
