first hint of spring mist
is in dew as it is kissed
in the break of light

whiff of scented breeze
serenades Persephone
trails along her skirt

shining sun sparkling
dancing fairies on dust motes
lyre strums golden dreams

she calls upon me
Persephone, sing to me
spring's sweet, soulful song

gilded lilies white
trail pathways airy and bright
velvet footpath light

Persephone loved
through persimmon knew the truth
spring births eternal

(smiles) Awwwwwwww, this is such a beautiful dedication to our sweet Nancy and Marsha, sweet friend, I have heard the whole story of Perspherone and Demeter and it delights me to see spring coming back and filling the whole world with life and laughter!
