There once was a woman who madly
took all of the men to heart gladly
then she moved to the north
threw her whole life off course
and now reminisces quite sadly.

(big hugggssssss) Oh Sandra, this is so very sad, my heart goes out to you and I pray that soon the love of your dreams will come to you and forever you will write limericks of the heart to the other end of the rainbow! (kiss on cheek) We all love you so much, sweet friend, my thoughts are with you as always! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sandra, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Sandra - take heart! If she moved far enough north...maybe Santa will make her smile. lol. Just wanting to make you grin. Loved this one. Chris

Sandra, you write wonderful limericks. Reminds me of:

There once was a man who loved grits
He suffered from fried chicken fits
His sweetheart more north so he had to go forrh
When his stomach shrunk into the pits.

Poor guy.

That's the limerick form, Sandra! Rhyming north and course is stretching it just a wee bit but your form is good

It is a fair enough limerick alright, with a bit of off rhyme.  I humbly offer this, to clean it up, and with appologies to the Scandinavians in the crowd:

There once was a woman who madly
took all of the men to heart gladly
then moved in with a Norse
threw her whole life off course
and now reminisces quite sadly.

Hee,Hee,Hee, I love limericks.

That shone with quite a patina.
Her spirit gave grace to this place,
And always put a smile on my face.
