How to prevent war "But I tell you: Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you and pray for those who persecute you" NIV Matthew 5:44 All imbalances of power must be resolved. There are only two ways to balance power: Build and destroy. To build strength requires truthfulness with love Truthfulness and love bring trust with power stability And offer strength for ensuring lasting peace. To destroy requires lies and hate Lies and hate bring distrust, power shifts and war. And as we join forces with other powers in an attempt To equalize power structures, unless we first seek truth and love only war will result, as greed, selfish gain and fear develop quickly, result in more lies and more hate. This continues the spiral of power imbalance as power structures again begin to crumble, shifting again to satisfy greed, lies and hate, born in selfishness, greed and fear. Let us prevent wars by seeking strength with truth and love And learn to love our enemies as we build our strength. How about it? Can we learn how to prevent war? I think it may be hopeless, as none of the politicians appear to think like us. But it's a good idea, anyway. And it can't hurt to pray for it. Sandra |

Thank you, Sandra. You're right about politicians as they think that is the way to win votes. It must start with us you, me and our friends and loved ones, one by one. And then perfhaps the politicians will follow. And YES, let us pray for guidance. ((Sandra)) -newell Sharing God's Love through perfectlovepoetry.com |

I agree with catalina, I am also afraid it is hopeless. They say you catch more bees with honey, but in a war such as this, if we stop and try to love our enemy, and not fight back (with hate as you say one must have to fight war) then I am afraid they will take over. I am not trying to be unspiritual here as I am very spiritual. I am just being realistic. But I do like your poem Newell. And we can always pray for peace. floria Floria |

Thank you, floria. The reason why ending war seems hopeless is because we are being told lies to encourage us to believe that it is. To make us fear. That is all part of the war psychology. And it is a buch of lies!!!! I hate lies. When will the American people be told the truth. ((floria)) -newell Sharing God's Love through perfectlovepoetry.com |

(big hugggssssss) Oh Newell, this is so very powerfully expressed, I too agree with Floria and Sandra that it is hopeless to try and be peaceful to others and keep the opposing forces from overthrowing us! (sad sigh) I also believe though that we should continue to try different tactics in reasoning with them without being hostile, for we have nothing to lose there! (sigh) This is very powerful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Newell, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton |
