I heard her sing today the one that you always said had to before the show was over I didn’t know what I was doing there in that place alone and quiet waiting then I understood as she appeared and drew in majestically all the air within the hall I thought I might smother until she began her song She stood and heaved a verse from her heart as if she pulled it from the universe Tears streamed my face to a paler pale as her clarity dispelled any question that life was unending for surely my heartbeat did slow The stage held no bounds for the power of her voice My bones shook and I heard the breaking of half empty glass as red velvet curtains slowly opened on finished pictures and they began coming filling the seats all the ones whose lives you touched so silently as to not disturb the calling the last note which carried so high it burst your chains of this world while my eyes rained with ease of a little girl my heart knew nothing but applause and I found my way out into the sunlit street knowing your suffering was over and smiled at your extravagance in showing me how close we all are to where the rose petals fall

"while my eyes rained with ease of a little girl my heart knew nothing but applause and I found my way out into the sunlit street knowing your suffering was over and smiled at your extravagance in showing me how close we all are to where the rose petals fall" (smiles) Awwwwwwww, this has such a happy ending and peaceful feeling to it, sweet friend, your gorgeous visions always make me smile and make everything feel like it is spring outside! This piece just flowed down the page. As usual, I loved it Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write. |

This is heart-wrenching, but required, as a door closes, knowing, knowing another is yet to open. |

Just beautiful!! Chris Life is not measured by breaths you take, but by moments that take your breath away. |

I once wrote that the sound of letting go was like soap bubbles that float down and hit hot pavement. Very nice version here, I know what you mean. |

"She stood and heaved a verse from her heart as if she pulled it from the universe" My goodness Regina ... this was a stunning and powerful piece that went straight to my heart. From the beginning through to the end, the flow was seamless ... so beautifully composed. An excellent write! Best wishes, /Kit |

and so. . . the poet continues to change. . . and evolve. . . and, yet, remains the same. . . at least, in word. . . your growth continues my friend. . . well done. . . ------------------------------------------------------------- To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |

Regina...how you can do this when you are so happily married is beyong my comprehension but you do! You definitely need him to cook more often, so you can write more often and get published girl! This was absolutely flawless writing, and went straight to the heart, causing a gasp! Bravo sweet friend (and hey...love the new picture, now that is you!) winking at you, catch it? The pursuit of truth and beauty is a sphere of activity in which we are permitted to remain children all our lives. |

Reg, Such clarity of life's experience spent and passed on. Your words have an impact like his life. What a tribute to you both. Peace and be well friend. Everybody thinks of changing humanity and nobody thinks of changing himself. Leo Tolstoy |

This made me think of funerals I have been to, and friends and family I have lost. Only you can make such beauty of the passing of a loved one. If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please? |

I read this poem to Mark tonite, he asks me to leave this...and to thank you for the inspiration. "With in the lyrics of the heart ... rests the staircase to our keeper. With in the blaze of belief ... burns the key to creations door. With in the passion for life ... lies the understanding of passage." MC |

I'm wondering if this is the sound I've been hearing for almost three months and because I have such a trusting nature, am just too deaf to hear. Nice writing, Regina. Michael Stars will shine when I am gone |

Sigh~ to you all..please know how much your thoughts mean to me. Just when you think things are in complete disarray enough, something happens that says "Everything can be worse than you imagine!". I have lost a wonderful person..a friend so close as to be my brother...who meant a lot to me and so many people, in the physical sense, but spiritually the bond will never be broken. Coming to peace and to terms with that isn't easy..but I have and will continue to grow in the fact that life is a miracle and we need to live it. And show..always show the ones you care about how much you do. We never know if we will get another second to do so. Thank you so much again for your replies and your constant uplift of my heart. Sincerely, Regina |
