Windy Whisper

tonight the wind
plays a tune
and the light is
all the moons
I run to hear
the dark’s song
feeling its breath
of how it longs
I catch the scent
of northern air
blended perfectly
with southern flair
intertwine now
sweet caressing breeze
how you make me
weak in the knees
no melody have I
ever heard crisper
as I wrap around
your windy whisper

"Pour yourself thick, when it is you, that you spread."

Helen - there you go again! Blowing me away with your words. Wonderful. Chris

Your poetry always seems to breathe softly, but with a certain passion sometimes only a woman can convey. I love this.
