There is woman somewhere.
rains in spring
delve into that spare smile place
She has been tantalizing herself with.
there are dreams and thoughts
that flit and wink in the depth of her day
as she offers herself, sweetly southern
smiling and having the ease of voice
enough to spray customed scents of gentleness
on the odor of anger that needs to linger.
The season of perfection nears
and she anticipates
where she will first see wisteria vines
offering the fragrant fruit of flowers.
these lavender or white petals droop
sleepy
shuddering with the wind
snuggling with doting sunlight.
They are her casual reminder of home and childhood
and of grapevines bearing their sweetness
in the most lazy of fashions
just waiting for youth with a passion for mischief
and hands hungry enough to unburden them.
the day closes its curtain around her
and although her love is missing
her life is not what it should be at her age
(at least according to the standards she had)
and there are plenty of frowns to go around..
she
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.

stops
decides to breathe
decides to coil up in happiness for a while
and dream at least of things that are good in life
like spring
wisteria
being the kind of woman
with the kind of personality most find warming
(all this with a southern style all her own flair)
and most of all
deciding to call herself a woman
instead of a girl.
deciding
for at least this day
to take the word of others
on all the above.

How grave is my condition, for I cannot find the words to say, I need you so.

(smiles) Awwwwwwww, this is soooooo beautiful, sweet friend, yes, in spite of growing up and all, she will always be young at heart and her heart will forever resemble the wisteria blooming with loves perfume on the countryside! (kiss on cheek) We all love you so much, sweet friend, this is wonderful! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Jenn, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Jenn, I felt I was looking at a picture you painted. The gorgeous purples of the wisteria, the heat of the day, bees stealing the sweetness from them.
Then on to see the girl suddenly realise she is a beautiful woman.
Wonderful peice.

Dee

I wish you every happiness and may you always have the best of the good things in life.     a brand

Jenn, what a wonderful write this is!

Another wondeful example of God's Wisdom in Women. Passion's is full of evidence that God did indeed bless Women with much wisdom. This is why King Solomon had 700 wives and 300 concubines. Because God showed him that he needed the wisdom of these women to rule his kingdom. And they made him the wisest man ever alive, before Christ. Men! Awaken and learn.

So, this sounds like a day of awakening... and an inner smile appears to be peeking out... I like the looks of it.. I surely do..

I'll refrain from comment upon my opinion of King Solomon's motivation for keeping throngs of wives, however...

Jenn,
Hey babe...I like this girl, I mean woman. Quite a lot actually. Nice smooth read.

You stir my memories with this one. We had a bush of mysteria that was kept nicely pruned and one of the prettiest things I've seen then or since...a lovely write, my friend.

Jenn I have to tell you I LOVED this!  There were too many lines to pick only a few.  The visions of the wisteria, showed intensly the change of the coming season of spring and the changes in a girl.  I loved how you used this metaphorically to show the growing up and emerging of a woman instead of a girl that was incredibly well done - you did that right? LOL   and by they way sweetie while I am at it...

Happy Birthday to you,
Happy Birthday to you,
Happy Brithday Dear Jenn,
Happy Birthday to you!

Hope you are having a very wonderful birthday Jenn, here's to you!

I always find something new in your work. . . you seem to look through the world with eyes that are different. . . as shown here. . .

well done. . .
