My Beloved Poem My beloved poem has yet to be sung, For from these heartstrings its not yet been wrung. Maybe today or, perhaps tomorrow Will it come through joy, or mayhap sorrow? My beloved poem is always Your Piece For you have given pause, quiet surcease, For you have penned one much better than I, Happily my heart joins the crowd in sighs. My beloved poems, they change every day, Like children of heart, to join in my play. Golden haired angels, each speaking to me Garnering Keepers, this I do gaily. My beloved poem has yet to be penned That one to rise above all shall come when I find me so old, and poems surround Me everywhere, laid in gilt edge bound, To read one last poem, then close my eyes, Softly speak, “God, let the poets’ song rise.” ~*~ ©KRJ 4 June 2000 revised 16 February 2002 [Major Rewrite!!!] |

Kari darling heart sister and holder of my dreamers soul what utter beauty darling heart truly this is one of your utter utter best. YES I know you knew I was going to say that. I sometimes wonder if I’ll run out of words of delight to describe your writing, but I know I won’t. I could go all slushy on you now and say that there’s never anything but wonder that flows from your pen but you know that darling heart don’t you?
