Drought The sky is brittle like dry bones. All weeping gone. The clover grasps at dew though grace weaves nasturtium like greedy snakes, they take their place, harbingers no matter what, of spring. Around the lakes lines mark the place in feet where water ate the greedy dirt then polished rocks and licked the manzanita branch last year. The seasons almost gone now, and still the sky is brittle like dry bones. Where is the weeping cloud? [This message has been edited by Martie (03-08-2002 10:33 PM).] |

(smiles) Ooohhhhhhhh...I love this, sweet friend, your words paint a wonderful surreal vision of a wasteland hit hard by a dust bowl! (kiss on cheek) Your words and imagery always amaze me, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Martie, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton |

I can sure relate to this one, miss, after Florida went through its worst drought in 40 years last year. Now we've got weeping clouds all over the place!!! I'll send you one |

You left me a memory and I hope it comes across soon in the form of something as nice as this... |

In loud sobs and gushes weeps the cold. The inbetween season has come calling clearly falling. Crystals soon leaden all about. The dry winter encased now, fragile. |
