Repost: When I paint My color drama tones my bones, In pressured overtones that stun. Slashing palette knife welding moans, I madly grin at what I've done. Sensuous blues, passionate reds, Vivacious adulterate greens. Gleans of black, apprehensions dread, Welded browns that anchor the scenes. Attacking canvas, raping prime, Climaxing sate, of love and hate, I've traumatized the now of time With layer on layer of weight. Painted my rage in garish wear, Producing borealis bright The straining makes for tender fare When they premiere my dreams at night. The forcing of passion reigns my head. And will, until they read me dead. |

Seymour darling boy I’m utterly utterly speechless This is wonderful writing but oh my! The feelings simply leap off the page and slam themselves into your soul. Truly fabulous writing, and not in your usual style either. Wonderful brilliant writing Love and warm stuff As always Mushy To give light to them that sit in darkness..... to guide our feet into the way of peace Luke 2:79 |

Sy, I also paint some and I know these feelings well, there is such an incredible feeling while creating something from an empty canvas, and as you stand back and see what you have given birth too, tell me is there anything else that can compare in satisfaction to that (I mean in the arts and crafts venue of course ) Oh I loved how this read aloud. ~* Imagination is more important than knowledge *~ Einstein [This message has been edited by Mysteria (03-01-2002 02:48 PM).] |

I remember this one fondly, Sy, for it was that time I learned that not only were you a poet of word, but a painter of prime...you remain for me one of the best poets here, your lines are always tight, you get the swing and flow going so well, sometimes I imagine your brush is your pen is your brush... |

(smiles) Awwwww, this is breathtaking, sweet friend, I too am always amazed by how we can create such beautiful things on canvas before our very eyes with just a paintbrush and an imagination! (big hugggsssss) We all love you so much, sweet friend, you always paint such lovely dreams and visions with your wonderful quill! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Seymour, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton |

Sy..I would love to be able to paint, but I never passed my class in stick figures. Some times I feel the way you describe when I write though. Loved the poem! |

This one is big and bold and strong, and I can see and feel it. Very good poem. I'm not a painter, but I think I know something about it now. Nan |

Having been in love with an artist..I can relate. I sure do wish I could paint. I am with Zinnser, I can barely draw a first grade cat. LOL You are an excellent painter of words,I would love to see the other paintings sometime. Sandra |

I never knew you were an artist. Wonderful! I am also an artist and you may view some of my paintings on my homepage, if you like. I prefer stretched canvas because I enjoy the spring as I make brush strokes. Painting is very relaxing. I'd love to see some of your work. Enjoyed much! Michael Michael Auguste~ |

Seymour - You seem to be as passionate of a painter as your are a writer. This was good, I could feel the emotional strain of transfering your thoughts to the canvas. Well done. Dave |
