I’m A Butterfly Reader  My eyes alight on this poetic delight Then I read and read far into the night I flit from that poem and then to this Taking from each a soft poet’s kiss I’m a butterfly reader I flit in and out I read of wonder love, fear and doubt And each of these poems touches me In each one of them I see such beauty My lips part as my eyes follow the line Oh you magical poets you are all divine First I read this one whose lines flow Then this who’s pace is soft and slow This poem fills my heart with tears This talks of battles fought with fears Each word is crafted with such grace While each moves at it’s desired pace My fingers fly over the keys to reply Then find I’m mumbling my oh my I read with wonder and often delight Rejoicing in a heart that shines a light Each of my friends writes magically Painting a scene I can see perfectly I’m a butterfly reader I sip from you Feeding on your poems pure and true I’m a butterfly reader living on poetry Poems are simply food and drink to me Who needs sleep I’ll simply rest in this? Relieved from strain by a poetic kiss I don’t need stars your words do shine Giving me light to see my way just fine I’m a butterfly reader I love your poetry Come give me more come feed me Marsha To give light to them that sit in darkness..... to guide our feet into the way of peace Luke 2:79 [This message has been edited by Marsha (02-17-2002 05:43 PM).] |

As I see You like to read poetry Filttering in and out Leaving the scene without a sound But your words stay here In my heart so dear Love what you have inked The ability to describe life with words is similar to painting a picture; both can be powerful tools. |

Marsha, darling girl. This is such a wonderful delight! And it's just like you. A beautiful butterfly sucking nectar from flower after flower in such delight. I love it Marsha. Marsha - Such a perfect cadence and flow to this one. You are certainly a butterfly that can both read and write, and you write very well I must say. Now as far as your reading goes, well there is no way for me to judge that.lol But I will feed you with plenty of tea and crumpets when you finally come to visit me.  Hey, here in NY, I feed the butterflies tea and crumpets all of the time. They love it.lol Dave |
