you were the night wing bird that made shadows in full moon day sky I heard your feathers dance they were fingers in wind mouths making wet whisper noise you came to me after others when the watchers had gone to their sleep heaven beds it was ok then you said for your white dress to become dirtyminded colors we slept in the day and hunted in the nights for each other only we had belly talk hunger for the wanton of your/my eyes and out dark thought music was weep wood of guitar song we hung our poem skins on wall brick windows for the morning spirit to know we listened then, to the chants of cloud gods reading our prayers we crossed our legs together with one skin we trembled.. ©Dark [This message has been edited by Dark Stranger (03-01-2002 08:37 AM).] |
