Revised from a much longer version that rests in my journal Good Father Jesus How bad I've been How wreched... and how kind You are to not strike me down Forgive me of my sins My mind goes round without stopping Even in my dreams I see insanity I don't know which way to turn One says right, the other left One says forward, another back And I always turn to him I love him so and he loves me I think he does We belong to each other He needs his space and I need him So what's a solution? I have to be brave again I have to be selfless again I just want to get what I want Just one damn time I want to be selfish I know that it's wrong I know that it's evil But, God, it hurts to be so meek They hurt You for it too.. Will my reward be in Heaven? God forgive me But I think not I've sinned too much I don't know what kind of person I am Some say this, another that Some say crazy, some say kind Some say flawed, some say perfect And they all say the other is wrong No two people agree I don't even agree within myself Sweet Father Jesus Forgive me of my sins Now and at the hour of my death Amen. Love's a lovely lad |

Well God doesn't offer cheap grace. But he does forgive as often as it's sought. Afterall, he predestined everybody to be saved. You have to opt out.  If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |

I just want to encourage you that there is only one sin that is unforgiveable - that is blaspheming the Holy Spirit, whatever that is. Nothing you have done outside of that is unpardonable. That is why He died on the cross for us. And something else; if you don't believe in yourself and think yourself worthy, nobody else will dear. God loves you for who and what you are right now.
