I am violet. A violent light of color described as a mixture of two. We worship, here, even numbers. We calculate, and ponder, still not capturing the very essence of what it is to be alive. Stillborn and gifted not the chance to breathe, just once. To be a mother, to hold to embrace. To comb the hair that resembles what you once had.. Styling the braids just the same. All that was said, is that smoking was a hard habit to break.. Like mending a heart that you can no longer love. Perpendicular stitching a violet button to a zig-zag seamed red blouse, that seemed to bleed. Careless eyes I once carressed and never looked into the same again. The blue faded quite lightly as a bond between the insane way we loved..beaten by violet rays of ..breathe |

I still don't quite know how to respond to this, but couldn't stand to see it go without something being said about it. There are so many aspects that are cut so deep and are so very meaningful. It surpasses my ability to comment deservingly at this time. Hopefully I'll be back with soemthing a bit more worthy? Enjoyed, very very much! Nicole |

Careless eyes I once carressed and never looked into the same again. This was a very amazing poem on the level that it featured the sort of loose association that might be found in stream of consciousness writing. You are certainly "getting there." 2+2=5 for sufficiently large values of 2 |

You've got some solid and real images in here that do that - like the red blouse that bleeds, the perpendicular stitching, the braided hair, the fading blue eyes.. Bless your cotten sockies, you poetic maniacs. ^_^ |
