My Love It is here in this tent now pitched on rocky slope leading to the foothills of Kuh-i-Nuh that I too will pass the veil of this world and into the garden Of Allah. I saw you again last night as the moon shed dim light on the silk of this shelter. Your beauty filled this weak soul with a desire to once again be in the prime of us and know the joys that came from the bond of flesh and mind. I thought your hand in soft touch on my brow when the air I would breathe refused my lungs and I labored to remain one more sunrise in this temporal world. I am here, and now as sun rise floods I know the ark of my soul was always you You are still my refuge and strength My eyes grow dim and I tire but before I put down this pen a final time I would write to you of my love my heart and those lives past which we must have shared in our own cosmic search for the other half I will bring you flowers when I arrive for the poppies are now in full and I return to you |

This has a spiritual twist to it, I'm sure... I don't think you gave enough clues to be conclusive (if you did, I didn't see them), but I think this one is probably written to God or some such spiritual manifestation... although I could be wrong, this could just be a powerful love poem. It's so hard to tell... why do you have to be so mysterious all the time? All in all I love this... I noticed your mention of the tent, and the garden of Allah, is this an expanse on the pilgrimage metaphor that you used in "To Not Journey Now?" Would this poem be along the same lines, maybe...? Or is it just a theme that's influencing your writing lately? Either way, this is great poetry Mr Hair. I'm loving the stuff you've been posting lately... Parasite |

Remember what I asked you? You did it. This one is it. Even though I didn't want you to write "the end" you managed to accomplish what we discussed. Bravo. |

Midnite... no need to be sad.. all things end in time and their own place.. as much a part of living as life itself. Ms Devine... thank you dear lady for the kindness and the kind words. JM... amazing? LOL.. hardly my dear... just an ending piece I had not posted for the series I had been writing... and I am afraid nothing of real originality or talent, just a progression of the idea.. but thank you so.. for thinking so. Sud... thank you sir.. spellbinding is perhaps a strong term to use let's say mildly interesting.. lol.. I'd hate to have to live up to spellbinding.. Parasite... I sent you an e-mail and answered a few of the questions.. thank you for the read and the nice words.. greatly appreciated my friend. Susan..LOL.. sorry..I hardly think so..but sweet of you to say.. thank you.. sincerely. |

I must say, I haven't read enough of you! This is so beautiful... I think it is a love poem to his wife, not so much to God. (but any 'analysis' that I give is a guess at best!) At any rate, I really love this.. especailly the end where he says he will bring her flowers. Great write. Oh, make me Thine forever |
