You. Early morning sickness: salvation. With your dark skin, steamy vision. Bitterness made creamy clean. Warm surging. You. Connect thoughts never met; heart races, Slows. Some stains, surely. Surely some stains. But I feel so clean that I don't notice. I refuse to notice. With a taste of you, the sight of you coalescing and turning -- turning to find all the details rich and deep, like liquid dreams. Oh, my love. My cup of coffee. We must never part. You are always. You jerk. I was really drinking it all up, too... just loving the romantic wordings and the utter beauty of it all... these kinds of poems are supposed to leave hints to keep us from getting too attached to the romance in it. You must really like raising eyebrows. Don't know what else to say... you really pulled the wool over my eyes. Parasite "Faith" means the will to avoid knowing what is true. |

Thanks, Parasite. This wasn't meant to pull the wool over your eyes. It's meant to be read again immediately once you "get" the joke, to just drink it in as is. This was my way at putting feelings of love and co-dependence into the same poem, the duality of it. Speaking of which, I'm about to post a second duality poem here ... let's see if PIP will let it remain. |
