yes... silence.sound.presence.absence.lifepulsating awake...and sleep? smiling you go rest I'll pace. even absent...you are there. symbiotic amniotic brine of life an egg is cracked... all the defenses of shell crumbled I concede my lack arms in reach of that I beg BREATHE-- to not do so is sin... aquatic dancing...a narcotic lance of eros the shell yields... CONCEIVE-- or die-a roach on back. legs in writhe of a protest no... silence.sound.presence.absence.lifepulsating death...and breath of gasp...some air? you go live... i'll go die... We are...creationism's pair. |

Wow... I really wish I could figure out how you get such a powerful, strong tone in your poetry... maybe if you tell me your secret, then I might give you the secret of my perfect flow...  hehe...A truly great piece of poetry. It flows thru her veins....poetry...rhyme...inspiration. When she bleeds...its cadence and metaphors...pure poetry.  I'm not crazy, I'm just a little unwell |

I am choking on my coffee here.. sputter--whoa. shaking my head... This was just a piece of conversation, evolved, and would not have been written if a certain someone had not taken my head and made me LOOK, saying, "DUMMY. THIS IS POETRY." (thanks bri... )And LP? no secrets...if there is a secret to why and the way I write? that's it. No secrets. Kinda funny you should ask that, as that was part of the aforementioned conversation...I just sit here and don't really think of anything but life, and then when I write? I just use words to invite the reader into my realm--that's all. It's sort of like: "C'mere, I wanna show you something..." Now? TEACH ME METER DAMMIT. Sharon...the inspiration is in ALL of you...and I know, e mail ya soon. I'm sorry--life has a way of getting in the way of me sometimes. Jan...you...have got to be the sweetest woman. I keep you in the same place in my heart that I keep my favorite poems. MIRROR baby. Everything you say to me? is YOU. love to you all... mmmmm...yummy stuff you guys--I'm hugging me. Thank you. |

hear that? that's the sound of me, speechless. i feel as though i've died and gone to heaven. no wonder they call this the poetic haven.  everything i've read in here... this is the best of the best. cream of the pip crop. heh. you never cease to amaze me serenity. /jen/ i'm so bitterly disappointed. betty, i think it's time you leave now.
