An antenna in a cross? Now God won't have to call collect? Paging Dr. Fine, Dr. Howard, Dr. Fine... (written after a friend told me that a Methodist church in Chicago has agreed to put a cell phone antenna in its cross) |

I saw that on TV also. The cross was VERY tall so I guess it stands to reason that someone would see a use for it (should they put a red light on top so planes don't run into it?). I wonder whose idea it was..were they just driving along and thought 'gee that would be a good place for an antenna'? Maybe someone will ask if they can put a flashing sign on it - 'next rest stop 30 miles'...sigh. |
