Simple sins of childish dreams
Summer sun soothed in cold streams
An exploring touch beneath the surface
An excited smile cross both their faces
Memories of years long gone
Where now cars are traveling on.

It is sad to see this happening all over, to so many childhood memories...but I guess progress has two edges..this one hurts. Enjoyed the poem.

How well I relate, Prof. It can almost take away the validity of the memories to have the location cease to exist....sad in a very melancholy way..
