The day passed quickly As Kia lead me across the plain After the fire of evening dies By the stream we sleep again Blinded by an arrow’s aim I struggle to follow in her lead To rest at home among my sisters To revenge this fateful deed His face will always be burned In my memory of that night Surprised by my quickness He turned to stand and fight My creed dictates his death After mating in lover’s heat But too quickly did he turn So we hastened in our retreat Immortal though we may be And choose to stand and fight But harder to be so brave When darkness takes my sight ** I think I'm going to make this better...make it into one of my Immortal Clan series.. |

BRAVO!!! Oh my gosh, this sounds like a prologue to a wonderfully promising and classic series, sweet friend, I too think this has to be posted in Open too so many others can gaze upon this wonder! (smiles) This is a powerful tale in the making, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sharon, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you!
