Tonight the moon shines upon the river
where I begin to reminisce-
The moon reflects sunlight
just as my thoughts reflect my love.
Just as the moon mirrors the sun,
your smile mirrors your heart.
And as the sun tinges the moon,
your smile tinges my heart,
while the moon and its twin sister
resemble likeness of your cheeks.
The night is bright as the moon gazes into your reflection
of my mind, as I lay my eyes on the valleys
with astounding peace in my heart
gazing the huge brother of the land
from the bottom of his feet.
