To Catch A Falling Star

You cast a net made of moon dust
that sparkles in the sky
Border it with the gold of trust
on it’s strength you’ll rely

Honesty must sew it’s weaving
with the finest of threads
Done by a heart still believing
the fantasies he treads

With faith to guide a loving hand
the net will soon be cast
Among the brilliant stars he’ll stand
waiting for her to pass

He sees her spinning ‘round the sun
advancing from afar
This is the way it must be done
to catch a falling star

With inner strength he takes a chance
and casts the perfect throw
She’s caught in a web of romance
that sets her heart aglow

Karen,

you always wow me with your romantic poetry.
My favorite stanza
"With inner strength he takes a chance
and casts the perfect throw
She’s caught in a web of romance
that sets her heart aglow"

Sooo perfect!!!! Well done my friend!

And from his net a shower falls
To streak the darkest space
Shooting stars traverse the sky
Shedding stardust in its race
The light of love in many hue
Around the stars does dance
And creats a path, a milky way
That will lead to true romance
Skip along this brilliant course
Join hands and hearts as one
Embrace behind the lover's moon
Love's journey has been won

Karen, you know that I wish this kind of love for you dear friend for no-one is more deserving!!!

Karen,
You know, you are a very big thinker. I don't seem to get that far off the ground. I love, however, that you can take me there. What an absolutely delightful write. THANKS!
