“GHOST SHADOWS” by Bill Charles ~~~~ Searched the deepest recesses, of memory filled with thoughts… Shadows lurking in there I see, muddled into each other, as knots… Dim is the light, fog is what I see, clouds on the prowl, for a lost soul… Something I seek, yet can’t find, lurking in the mist, out of control… Possibly a dream, I don’t know, visions to see, or to dismiss… My eyes wide, seeking an answer, maybe it would be, your kiss… I look into emptiness, for I must, not knowing who, or what I’ll find… Wanting it to be you, no other, ghost shadows perhaps, in my mind… ~~~~ |

Wanting it to be you, no other, ghost shadows perhaps, in my mind… *sigh* I am sure it will be the one your heart desires. This weaving is so romantic with your pen flowing dreams and visions. **big hugs**  Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams. |

Possibly a dream, I don’t know, visions to see, or to dismiss… My eyes wide, seeking an answer, maybe it would be, your kiss… ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Oh Bill...I really enjoyed the entire piece, but the stanza above is my favourite, I think. I will read it again and then maybe have a change of heart, but, then again, maybe not....Oh dear...No, I love the entire poem! ~Hugs, Nancy~ ~* A dream is a wish your heart makes... *~ |
