The down and out of it being reborn in light.

Gut wrenching soul bending sadness
Slop producing never ending slimed up sorrows
Voids of abyss’s claiming nothing put painful mountains
Street dead ending one way ending barriers
A rose

Upset mind in headache armor rattling
Upturned stomach in mirrored acid reflections
Nerves of steel rusted to dust magnetized endings
Battered body bruised black to blue broken
A vase

Downturns in reverberations of down right blues
Words that mellow out like vinegar in bottled wine
Conversations made up that are more dead than alive
In spirits that haunts your dead wish in self respect
A tear in a vase with hope

A storm of passion renewed in the grace of divine light
A fragrance lost for a million years being reborn pure
The prayer of a lifetime giving hope on bleeding knees
A hand of nothing that reaches in to turn you around
Two tears in a vase with a rose expanding

Nature’s wilderness thorns and all understanding a special being
A path of obstacles being overcome by the sheer will of inner strength
People who dogged you so, being pushed aside upon their own sewage
An inner glow of nothing but innocence saying nothing but thanks
Several tears in a vase with a rose budding

Loneliness in the arms of oneself growing inside smiles
Elevated searches within walls that claim you as a portrait
Skies storming in your passion to express your eruptions
A world so imperfect that you can exist in it, in your new perfection
A storm of needs planted in the roots of survival blooming on its own beauty

Cool piece Dave.  I like the last line dimension of the Rose and it's transformation.
