Each Day

I need not cupid’s arrow
Nor a candied heart
I need not a special card
My love to impart

I need not one special day
Nor these subtle clues
I have no need of persuasion
Our special love to fuse

I need only your sweet smile
The feeling of you near
Laying by your side each morn
As mist of sleep does clear

I need only your first caress
Whisper a morning kiss
I need only to hold you tight
To start my day in bliss

Each day you are my Valentine
Not just but once a year
Each day you fulfill my dreams
And gift me love sincere
