Planet Earth

It would be such a wonder
to see from this height
to look down from the sky
through the clouds, grey and white

glimpsing our home
from this point of view
our planet of birth
with it's atomosphere, blue

hanging so peacefully in the sky
who ever would guess
that this pretty world
would hear so many cries

would anyone think
that this globe, blue and green
would be the site
of so many war scenes

all women are sisters
all men are brothers
the terror must end
we must love one another

we must end all the terror
fear must be abolished
if we don't live in peace
it will all be demolished

Dear Lyra,
Good people keep saying this. Bad people keep tearing things apart. I'm with you.

(tears fall down my cheeks) Oh Lyra, this is so very heartbreaking but hopeful, it breaks my heart to see us all hurting one another and I pray we can all make love and harmony between each other and light the world with sunshine of peace! (kiss on cheek) I join you in your prayers for this simple creed, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Lyra, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Don't you know there is a beautiful earth out tonight and God is enjoying the sight

Madam Chipmunkers:
Only above can we be the objective observer of peace and see how small petty
differences are.  When we learn not to enforce our will on others, we maybe
will then glimpse peace.
I am glad i 'stared' at this poetic gem, tho!

As Christ said:

"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another." NIV John 13:34

We must all learn to unconditionally Love one another and teach others, especially our children to Love, unconditionally! We need to release all of our negative feelings, hurts, pain and sorrow, to free our souls and open them to Love. Love IS CONTAGIOUS!! But it needs to be unconditional!

Thanks for reminding us!

Floria...thanks so much for your support...now we have to remember to follow that advice.

Nan and Stevie...I agree, the world is beautiful its some of the people that are ugly......but, not all of the people.  Most are still beautiful.

Sy, Cheryl and Juanita...thanks for your replies and I'm glad you agree.

Larry and Noah...thanks, and you are right...it is sad that we even have to search for a solution for this problem
