You can keep your well oiled beefcakes Who have a peanut for a brain Walking egos complete with muscles Forever searching for fortune and fame Such a man is only capable of loving The image in the mirror he sees Give me the heart and soul of a poet His tapestry of words are sure to please A poet writes of love from the inside Opening his heart for all to see Such a master he is at creating A veritable symphony for you and me His words will sweep you off your feet And raise you high above the floor As you are carried away with the moment And come back begging for more He is the king of all things romantic As he paints from his palette of words Of two lovers who walk in the moonlight As feelings of passion and yearning are stirred His poetry will set your heart in motion As your heart soars on the wings of a dove Whilst he captivates your being And fills your heart with images of love Suetang |

What if the poet is also beefcake or semi-beefcake? Just a random thought Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write. |

Sue, Bravo!!! Only airheads would want a "beefcake"... They would bore the heck out of me. Now a beefcake poet?!....that may be a different story...lol. Either way, romance will win me over shallow looks anytime. Great poem! Love, Bonnie |
