Let’s Have A Poetic Affair

let’s have
a poetic affair
intermingling dreams
and phrases to share
ah to be caressed
by your tender words
a feeling only known
to flying birds
to understand language
spoken or written
within your text
I am totally smitten
we shall rise above
the lines of communication
a romance of bliss
of our own creation
making love
in the ecstasy of verse
our words, our thoughts,
our souls immerse
from sundown to sun up
we shall rhyme
a captured poem written
between the lines
and we shall never tire
words of old are still new
I become a verb
to have a poetic affair with you

"I have already paid for all my future sins."  Sade...(King of Sorrow)

What a lovely descriptive poem. Sounds like a perfect scenario.

Hello My Lady,

I must say that this poem was beautifully constructed and the scheme immaculate...you have definately outdone yourself...I expect nothing less than this perfection from here on out...LOL  and the ending...

"I become a verb
to have a poetic affair with you"

Just an awesome ending...which is the hardest thing to do.  End a great poem exceptionally.  Bravo

J~

For all who watch.Dare you say hello? Come in and ask the questions that are on your mind, but spare me your judgement until you truly sipped of me.
