Yep, sometimes you’ve just got to stand your ground, though, it’s not always easy. Well written piece about the struggle and the resolve.

Sometimes we will do anything for someone we once loved....except love them again.

and there are some who don't love but doesn't want the other to love anyone else..

there are some people who will say things or do things to mistreat a true love, not treasuring it as it should be, often blaming the other which can result in poetry like this

Love might be lost, but it should never be stifled.
There really are no exceptions to rule, love is what it is.
