Night images

thoughts cross
hazy bridges,
one into another

blurred faces smile
echoing words
understood, but not

floating on notions
only the slumbering
mind can conjure-
what the heart wishes
{you were near}
or what my psyche fears
{losing you}

Even in dreams,
I ponder
the reality of you...
