Thinking of you...
opinions, perceptions
reread words, pondered meanings
arrived at conclusions yet
exclusively to be proven
but fundamentally feasible
such is the way of the romantic...

Truths frighten
sending those identity frantic
into borrows of self protection
The "abnormal" has a repugnantly
unpalatable flavor,
Still I sip with the grace of a lady
smiling pleasantly in the face of horror

I ponder you
how once you stood out among millions
who've now seemingly swallowed
your unique mind into their collective
consciousness, tell me
when did "who I am" change for you?
was it when "who you were" changed
for me?
