Child of Light,
Alight the fire within;
Keeper of hope and dreams,
Sparkling star and guide
Towards Brotherhood.

Utah's Natives,
United in peace and in balance
With nature and the Great Spirit;
A welcome to the new world,
Representing Brotherhood.

Pioneers of the West,
Newly discovered mysteries;
- Changing the old ways -
A new beginning, a new Nation,
Of Brotherhood.

Athletes around the world,
Dreams now reality;
Gathered in sportive contest,
Pledging a solemn oath
Of Brotherhood.

Child of Light,
Preserve the fire within;
Beacon of hope and dreams,
Respect - Love
And Brotherhood.

Munda

Munda, this is terrific and it captures all of the opening ceremonies.  Expertly done!

This poem was beautiful and you've captured the words to describe the 'air' of the Olympics. Great job...Marti
