Between a laugh and a tear...

I Found Myself

There came a gift
From one so true
'Twas given freely
Not knowing who

A gift of friendship
From you to me
Allowed a soul to fly
Strong and free

A love was born
So deep, yet blue
As souls entwined
The angels flew

My love grows strong
For all to see
Though it's a bloom
That may never seed

Still I give thanks
For this love that grew
And that I found myself
So deep in you

Did ya ever notice angels seem to be on your mind lol.....
your romantic heart is outdone only by your steadfast faithfullness.
And your last lines are so true...we do grow and discover parts of ourselves each time we open our hearts to love.
well done poet E

What a wonderful valentine to send.
I hope it has a joyous end.
Your words are always so tender and sweet.
I remember the first time through our words we did meet.
So my wish for you this Valentine's Day.
Is hoping your valentine comes directly your way.
