A little roach

A little roach crawled on my plate
to see what he could eat
and then I watched him eat a crumb
as neat as he could be.

Why every boy should be so neat
as that pretty tiny roach
then mom would have much less to clean
when my brother eats his oats.

Joanna, did you know that roaches are among the cleanest creatures, God made. But I agree with you. I don't want to eat anywhere around them. Ick! Just the way I was taught. Thanks for taking the courage to read and comment. LOL...

Hmmm...here in New Orleans? We have entire roach philosophies too. A huge roach (actually a palmetto bug from the beatle family) is not as much cause for alarm as the presence of baby roaches. Baby Roaches, indicate the presence of a colony! (where is BALLADEER, when I need him, hmmm?) Roaches are a complex subject, as there ARE different varieties, with different traits of behavior. LMAO...somebody squash me, lest I type all night!

But ya made me smile and I thank you much for that!

Serenity, thanks for helping illumniate this very interesting subject. I like to challenge and conquer all things that people fear. I hate the darkness. LOL...
