When a leaf falls silently
in woods without ears,
years of suffering are shed
like silent raindrops with tears.
Too many fears
for too many years.
In mourning rays of sunshine
angled low in northern skies
contemplating mortality,
but not waiting to die.
Things to do,
places to go.
Will I have a tomorrow?
Only my God can know.

Go to sleep each and every night,
first give your loved one hugs good night.
Tomorrow is another day,
it's only a skip of a heartbeat away,
or maybe an eternity.
Mourning rays of sunshine
angled low in northern skies.
I greet another day today
and dare not wonder why
I am so lucky.

Midnitesun,
what a lovely write of the turning of the pages of our lives.

(big hugggsssssss) Soooooo powerfully expressed, sweet friend, the leaves may fall early in our lives and we may suffer the cold of winter, but spring will always follow and every tomorrow will be filled with new horizons and hopes to look up to! (kiss on cheek) We all love you so much, sweet friend, this is wonderfully said! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Kacy, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Kacy, this is very very true!  Wonderful write and we should all take the time to hug and tell our loved ones just how much they mean to us.
