When The Time Is Right

"One man is about to do the unthinkable.
No sex.  Whatsoever.   For...40 days
and 40 nights"
I read these words from the movie poster
and thought "How absurd...how ridiculous."
The times have been many when I have lived for
40 days and nights with no sex in sight.
How insensitive can Hollywood be
to the wants and the needs of me.
For without love sex becomes only
a word and an action that would
provide me with little satisfaction.
And if I were to choose between sex or love
I know that love would win everytime.
I could care less about whether or not
I have sex for forty days or forty nights.
My primary concern is making love
when the time is right.

A movie that will be opening approximately March 01 in theatre's everywhere.

Oh dear, how insensitive can Hollywood possibly be to affection, this just sickens me!

Love is what brings people together, and without it, sex is just nothing but a crime to the heart! (big hugggssssss) I'd rather be making love than having sex anyday in my whole life, for love is what makes it special! We all love you so much, sweet friend, such strong feelings flow from your words that I agree with you ever so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet James, thank you for sharing!

awesome write, sometimes a few men really get the bad rap for the mulitudes haha seriously though, to love is a miracle, but to ahave sex is just that. Again this poem is incredible.

I saw that ad and felt the same as you, how absurd! Just shows Hollywood has no handle on what truly motivates the heart. I agree, making love when the time is right is far superior than having sex for sake of sex. I would choose love too. Very well said!
