A Jewel of my heart (Inspired by Startime's poem "Alone with my thoughts) "It shone with the glory of God, and its brilliance was like that of a very precious jewel, like a jasper, clear as crystal." NIV Revelations 21:10 And then I hear a whisper From gentle breezes there A tiny voice starts speaking I'm with you everywhere. When I see your loneliness I want you in my care Just dry your tears with sunshine Come with me into air. For I am in the heavens A place where nothing's wrong We sing and dance, praise the Lord In joyful worship song. Love is shared by everyone There are no broken hearts Come to me and quickly be A jewel in my heart. A jewel of my heart. Newell darling boy I think this is utterly utterly spectacular. The flow the construction the rhythm all combine to make this a truly outstandingly fabulous poem. Rarely is writing this good, certainly this far exceeds my expectations and my expectations for you are always high. YOU are a very good writer and this proves it.
