The room is vast Its speeding passed But why its fast I cannot ask I cannot ask The reason why I cannot last Within your eyes The page is long I'm writing songs But still There's something wrong Beyond Everything that's right The last note It will not play I've tried it every way Each note a half Each rest a whole The cadence of my soul Like child who jams the keys In random Rock n' Roll There's no escape In your eyes Yet still I yearn to learn their rhythm Baby, I need instruction [This message has been edited by wayoutwalt (02-07-2002 11:34 AM).] |
