Some men aren't meant for marriage, And I suppose that's me. It's sad that twenty years ago, This truth I could not see. Twenty-eight and counting... And what have I to show? But bitterness, hurt feelings- I guess I ought to go. But I can't help but wonder, Where do you say, "That's it!" When someone seems a part of you- How can you up and quit? My pride keeps railing at me- "You don't deserve this fate!" My conscience seems to whisper- "You taught her how to hate." I'm torn with indecision... The path I do not know. One part of me keeps saying, "Stay!" But I really ought to go. |

You seem to have a masters in rhyme I like how you display the emotional turmoil here. It gives it a realistic feel. ...and her crown was formed by the ice in her eyes |
