A Wish Is A Dream

I wish on a star
that’s shining so bright
It hangs up so far
lighting velvet night

I wish on rainbows
with their pot of gold
Brilliant color flows
such sight to behold

I wish at midnight
during darkest hours
Magic I invite
questing of powers

A wish is a dream
flowing though my heart
A free running stream
with love to impart

Karen...this is so beautiful. All of your poems have that romantic touch. You could probably make housework sound romantic if you wrote a poem about it.

Karen, this is so very beautiful. You are such a wonderful inspiration to me.

My wish is simply that your every wish comes true. And I just couldn't resist writing a poem about it.

I think that a free running stream does not come close to describing the amount of love your heart carries dear friend!!!!HUGZ!!!
