There is some comfort in knowing
that someone you can't even see is smiling.
The belief and reflection of that smile
is the protest of faith to those who no longer believe.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Here inside is a mixture of potent moods.
Outside, the rain claims my skin
with cold lazy fingers
and shivers me with a flat displeasure.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A muse with bed sores struggles to stand
and she is more weakened than the last time she was sick.
With each lonely lack of inspiration
she uses every quivering muscle
to gain the strength for coming alive.
Even smiles aren't that easy to come by,
but she will soon conquer
and be stronger than I am again.
With thought, I simply must nurture her.

For all who watch.Dare you say hello? Come in and ask the questions that are on your mind, but spare me your judgement until you truly sipped of me.

The heart of you

Yes, it's always good to nurture your Muse, this I have found to be quite helpful.  Tell it loving, calming things, things that will help it give back to you what you have given to it.

This is a start.

Thank you.

Looks like you've done a good job with the nurturing

Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.

Hi Jenn, well at least you didn't make a fool out of yourself and
tell everyone you were taking a break ha ha I'm joking,
now I'm bursting at the seams and well, you know how it is!
We all go through it.

Yes, nurture her!!!!!  Absolutely. nurture her no matter what the cost.
But I tell you something this poem and phrasing sounds like there is a leak in your block!

Temptress, Hi,, I wish some of my poems were as good as what you call your ramblings, and what I call poetry. Love it..floria
