The sensation on my left side Says a heart lives inside The pain says it has been hurt too much From the throb of seeking quests Lonely vibrations echo deep within Fantasizing to do so much more In a self imposed depravation A head crowded in excruciating pain Thunders inside the walls that cry Each drum roll pieces the sanity To collapse the will that understands Restlessness haunts the trapped silence To walk within a day dream of sleep deprivation Chills of cold hands that freeze your thoughts Lay bare your vulnerability into ice cubes of melting needs Into goose bumps growing on layers on layers Molding the nerves into twitching Jerking inner reverberations So cold the heart stands on time Waiting for the mind to move on The stillness within hallow Without the wind of motion A space void of any movement or activity A pristine death of sorts in silent sighs The chapter not closed in a frozen waiting game In which the revelation keeps the soul in a trance A miracle of thought implodes the hell hole Sending daggers of icicles shattering the silence As the crystal walls shower down in tidal waves Cleaning all the venom in a cholesterol sludge That flows through clogged arteries in excruciating pain Setting free the migraine trapped within My right side jerks free into a trap that was left Sending all of me whirling down a stormy trail In the lightning of such feelings that The mold was broken From the numbed insides I exhaled the demons In thundering rolls over the terrain now sterile Your paradise now awakens in overpowering freshness Lush sounds caressing my mind Cries to sleep the self doubt of stagnating fears The wilderness of the open sky Has left me want to fly high To conquer the heavens in a sigh In treasures that reach the magic eye They will be available in great supply Rhyming inside making me very spry In your new found youthful glide Heart now be aware of attacks in heart burn For my view has fresh breath minty cure all Rolaids Migraine the force in not with you To destroy the expanse I now live in Which gives me such a wild ride That the adrenaline will never die For the pain worth living is in real life D.Lester Young (//) Tuscaloosa, AL Copyright © D.Lester Young (White Eagle poetry) http://www.writtenbyme.com/userprofile.php?name=davelyoung1 http://www.authorsden.com/visit/author.asp?AuthorID=5012 In the bodies pain there is strength to conquer. |
