(i'm not a songwriter!..but i found these songs--about 5 of them--that i wrote in the late 80's back when i used to just make up stuff to sing..lol ..if someone who writes songs/music can give me some pointers..maybe they'd be worthy of calling them songs...?  anyway..i'll post them here, and you can beat them up..but gently..and one at time!   haha!!)

(for alan)

v. 1
standing by the wall
i see you walking
going through the motions
of your life
i see you painting scenes
of abstract mystery
and i wonder what it is
you hold inside

v. 2
walking by the wall
you see me standing
going through the motions
of my life
holding out your hand
you catch a falling tear
and i wonder if it heals you
to heal me

*(chorus)
together we can see the light
together we can hold on tight
a tear thats shed
is gently wiped away
together we can laugh out loud
to stand out in an angry crowd
together we can swiftly fly away

v. 3
living in the world
we walk our way now
leaving far behind
our wall of fear
hand in hand we smile
as our hearts have
been entwined
and i wonder how it is
that we became

*
together we can see the light
together we can win the fight
a tear thats shed
is gently wiped away
together we can laugh out loud
to stand out in an angry crowd
together we can swiftly fly away

** (bridge?)
and when we meet
i'll hold out my hand
just as you have always done for me
and when we meet
my love will be the same
just as yours for me
has never changed

*
(chorus again...)

don't say that !  I thought it was very lyrical

Awwwwww, this is a beautiful song, I'm beginning to learn to play the guitar and am learning how to songwrite, this would make a beautiful song. Love it!
