I somehow can identify, With your need to flee... On more than one occasion- Has the urge come over me. But there are those who need you, In you they’ve found a stay, A smile, and word of kindness To lighten up their day. A chiding quip, or comment- Eliciting a smile... And giving them the courage, To press on for awhile. Perhaps a mystic princess- To add spice to their plate. I beg you reconsider- Before it is too late. Perhaps it is the wording- Of your writing which inspires- Or your seeming, boundless vigor Does lift the one who tires. So if, and when, you spread your wings- To on your journey go- Remember, mortals love you- On this ball of mud below. |

John... Beautiful, touching words. Very tender and loving, I'm sure your angel would love this. However, I must admit that the words that really caught my eye were "On this ball of mud below". Very quirky, I thought. Bec "Poetry and Hums aren't things which you get, they're things which get you. And all you can do is to go where they can find you." |
