God has favorites too Sweetheart it's true that I so love you More than anyone God made from the dew But God tells me that that's quite OK Cause God has favorites, too. God loves The Son more than anyone The Lamb from Calvary And in old times God favored David's shine For everyone to see. We're suppose to love our neighbors Just love everyone But when we follow God and love 'em all a ton There will always be a very special someone. And others we love with God's Holy love We'll love in varying degrees Cause that's how God made us to please Loving every one as we do And darling we should always remember That God has favorites, too!
