Listening to every heart

0 posted 2002-02-02 04:57 PM

Perhaps, Perchance…

I find myself in the middle
In this place of where and when
Thinking that perhaps I’m little
And knowing I would go again;

Perhaps I slept too long this morn,
And missed the sun ray’s beam
I only know I saw you there
In the shadowy mists of dream…

I felt your fingers’ light caress
And knew the hold of you
I felt the kiss upon my face,
Saw footsteps left in dew;

Perhaps I slept too long this morn,
And missed the dawning light
I only know I saw you there
In the shadowy mists so white…

I saw me, and knew my form
But different in my view
While watching you look at me
As if you saw some clue;

Perhaps I slept too long this morn,
And missed long shadow’s kiss
I only know I saw you there
In the obscure bless of mist…

If perchance, I sleep again
And dream you come this night
Wake me up before the morn
And bless me with your sight…

(sigh) Such a beautifully bittersweet sentimental expression of longing, sweet friend, I hope now that his shadow has been replaced by the presence of true love to fill your heart forever! (kiss on cheek) Such a beautiful dreamy poem, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Karilea, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Karilea, this is the most beautiful dream, so visual and sensual. lovely, floria
